Understanding Slang Across Cultures: A Study of Non-Native English Speakers on Social Media

This anonymous questionnaire is part of a Master's research project at the University of Birmingham. It explores how non-native English speakers—especially Chinese students—understand, misunderstand, and use English slang on social media. Data collected in this survey will remain strictly confidential and anonymous. Responses will be used solely for academic research, and no identifying information will be collected.
